This program provides in-person instruction only.
Students enrolling in the Business Administration program will have the skill to work in a variety of careers. It is also available via distance education and hybrid models with training on how to use Zoom and Canvas LMS. They should possess the skill to be able to be an active listener and learner, have social perceptiveness, and talk to others to convey information effectively, motivate and develop people as they work, as well as, identify the best people for the job.Business Administrators may supervise the work of others, resolve customer complaints, prepare and issue work schedules, train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies, compute figures such as balances, totals, or commissions, or research, compile, and prepare reports, manuals, correspondence, or other information required by management or governmental agencies.This program will cover such areas as Accounting 1, 2 and QuickBooks (Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data), and Business English (correspondence travel arrangements, grammar and business writing). Learning MS Office software to spreadsheets, various charts, complex formulas (Excel), manage databases (Access) and filing systemswhether electronic or paper, utilize word processing (Word) knowledge to reports, letters, forms, macros, and mail merge are valuable skills and necessary for any office to run efficiently.
