Program details
This is a hybrid or blended program providing both in-person and online instruction.
The Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy program is the foundation for becoming a medicalassist in todays healthcare world. The program consists of three components: Administrative Skills training, ClinicalSkills training, and a Clinical Externship. The program is divided into 8 learning units called modules. The first sevenmodules, 1 through 7, are classroom modules. Each stands alone as a unit of study and is not dependent upon thecompletion of any previous or subsequent module. Students may enter the program in any of the seven modules andMEDICAL ASSISTING with PHLEBOTOMY52continue through these modules until all have been completed. Following the successful completion of the first sevenmodules, 1 through 7, students participate in a 200-hour Clinical Externship.
