Program details
This program provides in-person instruction only.
This course is required if your job responsibilities include entry-level computer service technician support duties. This course contains two modules. A student is required to complete both modules in order to obtain the CompTIA a+ certification program. In the first module, students will build on their end-user background knowledge and acquire the specific skills required to install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair pc hardware components and systems. In the second module, students will learn to provide support of computers running the windows 9X, windows 2000, and windows XP operating systems. This course, along with the a+ certification: hardware, prepares you for the CompTIA a+ operating systems certification exam.
