A state-approved registered apprenticeship program. Apprentices follow the program Standards, outlining related instruction and on-the-job training hours required to receive a certificate from the state upon completion. Related instruction includes, but is not limited to, accounting principles and theory, financial accounting, managerial accounting, cost accounting, budget control, legal aspects of accounting, reporting procedures, statement analysis, business information systems, professional standards and ethics.
