Apartment works Prepares Job Seekers for Positions as Apartment Maintenance Technicians as A First Step on The Career Ladder in The Apartment Industry. The Technical Curriculum Was Developed by The National Apartment Association and Covers Interior and Exterior Maintenance and Repair, Electrical Maintenance and Repair, Plumbing Maintenance and Repair, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Maintenance and Repair and Appliances Maintenance and Repair, As Well As Modules Devoted to The Workings of The Apartment Industry and Customer Service. JVS Augments This Material with Sessions Devoted to Preparing for The Job Search, Which Include Preparing a Resume and Completing Employment Applications, Interview Preparation, And the Skills Needed to Get Off to A Great Start in A New Job. Participants Who Successfully Pass the Courses Final Exam Will Receive a Provisional Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians from The National Apartment Association. After One Year of Employment in The Apartment Industry, A Full Certificate Is Provided. Benefits To Participants Include Learning New Skills, Opportunity for Career Growth and Support of Achievement of Financial Self-Sufficiency.
