This program provides in-person instruction only.
This comprehensive training program consists of HVAC; Refrigeration; Diesel and Welding courses to equip masterservice technicians with industry specific job skills. The diesel courses meet the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)Program Certification Standards set by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). It providesstudents with technical instruction and practical experience in a medium/heavy truck specialty area incorporatingsustainable and green vehicle technologies. It covers the proper use, maintenance, and storage of diesel repair toolsand equipment as well as the effective use of service manuals and computer-based information systems. Emphasis isplaced on the techniques in the following areas of diesel engine diagnosis and repair: general, cylinder head and valvetrain, and engine block. It covers the proper use, maintenance, and storage of auto repair tools and equipment as well.
