This program provides online instruction, e-learning, or distance learning only.

In this program students learn the basics of Microsoft Office that includes excel, word, PowerPoint, access, outlook etc. And the basic concepts of relational databases and the powerful SQL language. This course provides the essential skills for data entry using an Excel sheet and create, edit, and manipulate database information. Candidates also learn SQL skills that allow developers to write queries against single and multiple tables, manipulate data in tables, and **database objects. The students also learn to use single row functions to customize output, conversion functions and conditional expressions and use group functions to report aggregated data. Demonstrations and hands-on practice reinforce the fundamental concepts. Students also learn to create e-mails, appointments and does schedule management using outlook. In this course, students use oracle SQL developer as the main tool and SQL*plus is introduced as an optional tool. Students will also have a choice of one of object-oriented programming (c#, vb.net or asp.net) languages. The .net framework, C# - language fundamentals C# object-oriented (oops) Windows app/web application using ado.net, web services - soap, WSDL, asp.net web services, streams, assemblies and versioning, attributes and reflection, threads, .net and com, introduction, JavaScript, Ajax and web services vb.net: course content: developing multi-tier applications, dividing logical layers, multiple components, reusing components with different UIs, persisting component data, databases, the .net framework, common language runtime (CLR), CLR architecture and services.
