Program details
This program provides in-person instruction only.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) respond to emergency calls, perform medical services, and transport patients to medical facilities. EMT certification and work experience are also required for those seeking Paramedic training. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an EMT-1 Course Completion Certificate from Simi Institute and will be eligible to take the computerized National Registry Exam. Clinical ride-along and ER externship experience included. Clinical ride-along times TBD. Offered in two different formats: Semester (5 months) or Accelerated (6 weeks). Required textbooks, supplies, CPR certification, and uniforms are included in tuition. Note: Students MUST provide their own required shoes, pants, and belt. Students with disabilities seeking accommodations are encouraged to contact our SICE counselors for assistance PRIOR to the start of your educational program.
