Program details
This program provides in-person instruction only.
Students will obtain entry level skills as a personal health care aide in either a home setting, longtermcare facility, or for social services placement. This course is designed for in-home and assistedliving caregivers, includes training in ethics, client's rights, and elder abuse as well as training inemergency first aid, personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.

The order the rules set out starts at the center rather than at the school. Before a center can find somebody eligible for training services it has to gather enough to decide, at a minimum through an interview, evaluation or assessment and career planning.
