This program provides in-person instruction only.
The Barber Stylist program covers current techniques in haircutting, shaves and scalp massage. Emphasizes safe use of clippers, trimmers, razors and scissors/shears. Course also covers methods of blow dry, color and permanent wave, and old fashion barbershop shave. Students advance to practicing barbering with confidence in a salon/shop setting by delivering service to real customers.The Barber/Stylist program meets all requirements of the California Board of Barbering & Cosmetology. Employability skills are addressed. Certificate will be awarded upon successful program completion.
