This program provides online instruction, e-learning, or distance learning only.
This program provides a survey of the business world covering topics such as the environment of business; business processes and entity formation; management and organization; human resources; marketing; and finance investment. In addition, this course covers the fundamentals of accounting and business law, information systems in the workplace, and contracts and procurement. Students also learn how to use essential applications such as QuickBooks, Excel, Office 365, Google Workspace, Outlook, Adobe, Canva, DocuSign, and Windows Operating System. Students learn essential fundamental skills such as how to create professional correspondences, phone etiquette, legal and ethical business practices, social media marketing, and taking meeting minutes. There is also a heavy focus on typing speed.
