This program provides in-person instruction only.
This competency-based course is designed to provide training in illustration and layout, paste-up or production art. This course includes instruction in conception of ideas for newspaper or magazine ads, posters, brochures, mailers and catalogs; preparation of camera-ready art for the printing method style; and employability skills. The competencies in this course are aligned with the California high school academic content standards and the California career technical education model curriculum standards.
