Program details
This program provides in-person instruction only.
Program includes 80 hours of classroom training and 160 hours of externship. Students are able to utilize this training to work in hospitals, clinics or doing clerical jobs. Students receiving classroom training in coding practices and procedures used in the medical field. However, students also learn other valuable skills that can be applied in other fields. Such as typing, 10-key, Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows. The skills can be applied in other professions. Aside from the medical field, giving students the option to pursue other clerical positions. All courses are also aimed at preparing students to enter the workforce, by including common office practices and ethics in the curriculum.
