This program provides in-person instruction only.
The water technology program prepares students for entry-level positions in the field of water treatment at the grade I and II level (grade III can be achieved with an additional semester of coursework). Also covered will be the responsibilities of water supply, state health department title 17 cross-connections, and title 22 water quality standards. Students will sit for the operator certification examination, given by the state of California, department of health and the AWWA distribution certification.
