This program provides in-person instruction only.
A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric apparatus and systems such as: residential electric-power wiring and DC and AC motors controls and electrical distribution panels. Includes instruction in the principles of electronics and electrical systems, wiring and power transmission safety and household appliances, job estimation, electrical testing and inspection; applicable codes and standards. This is a 480 hours program is DIR approved and qualifies completer to apply for the Electrician Trainee (ET) Card. Approved to Offer Whole General Electrician and Residential Electrician program.

Ask before you enroll, not after
The order the rules set out starts at the center rather than at the school. Before a center can find somebody eligible for training services it has to gather enough to decide, at a minimum through an interview, evaluation or assessment and career planning.
