This program provides in-person instruction only.
This complete program is designed to meet the requirements for certification from the California Massage Therapy Council* (CAMTC) which includes 500 massage education hours, including 100 hours in anatomy & physiology, contraindications, health & hygiene, and business & ethics. This program has been designed to meet the requirements of most cities and employers, however licensing and hiring requirements do vary by city. The student is advised to research the licensing requirements in his or her city. Graduates must complete the Massage and Body Works Licensing Examination (MBLEX) Administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards ( FSMTB.org.) (temporarily on hold in CA) The MBLEX exam fee of $265 and CAMTC Certification Application fee of $300 are not included in training cost.
